FunHome Kurokawa is a house in Kita-ku, Nagoya, three minutes’ walk from Kurokawa subway station. The whole building is yours — one group at a time. There are no shared corridors and no lobby: the entrance, the kitchen and the bath belong to you for the length of your stay.
The second-floor living room is bright, with a large white sofa and a wide window. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are on the TV at no extra cost. Downstairs there is a tatami room, so you can choose between a western and a Japanese-style space. The bathtub is on the first floor and the shower room on the second, so mornings don’t turn into a queue.
There is free parking for two cars on the property, three minutes from the Kurokawa exit of the Nagoya Expressway — easy if you are travelling by car. Check-in is from 15:00, and because it is 24-hour check-in, arriving late in the evening is no problem.
